Meta Deadlock
Everything the S5 tracker offers, plus the ability to lock your vehicle down remotely from your phone, even if the key or tag is present.
What makes Deadlock different
Deadlock starts with everything the standard S5 does, Thatcham-approved GPS tracking, a driver ID tag, and a 24/7 monitored control room. On top of that, it adds remote deadlock immobilisation: from the Meta Trak app, you can lock the vehicle down completely, so it cannot be started even if someone has your key or driver tag in hand.
That matters for a specific risk the standard tracker doesn't cover, if a vehicle is taken via a stolen or duplicated key rather than a relay attack, the driver ID tag alone won't stop it starting. Deadlock gives you a manual override to shut it down anyway, the moment you realise something's wrong.
It's aimed at higher-value or higher-risk vehicles, the ones organised theft gangs specifically target, where the extra layer of control is worth the higher price over the standard S5.

Questions about Deadlock
Does the deadlock stop the engine starting normally, or only remotely?
Day to day, the car starts normally with your driver ID tag present, same as the standard S5. The deadlock is something you trigger yourself from the app when you want the vehicle locked down completely, for example if it's parked up for an extended period, or if you suspect something's wrong.
Is this the same as an immobiliser like Ghost?
No, Ghost is always-on and requires a PIN every single start. Deadlock's immobilisation is something you activate manually when needed, layered on top of tracking. Some owners combine both for constant PIN protection plus remote override.
How long does fitting take?
Around one to two hours, at your home or workplace.
