Without a Ghost fitted
One thief stands by your front door with a relay device, your key's signal reaches through the wall from the hallway table.
A second thief holds a receiver at your car. The signal is relayed straight to it.
The car believes the key is present. Doors unlock, engine starts.
Car gone. You find out in the morning.
With a Ghost fitted
Same relay attack. Same two thieves, same devices, it still works exactly the same way.
Doors unlock. Engine attempts to start, same as before.
Nothing happens. The Ghost has no fob or tag to relay, it needs a PIN typed on buttons already in your car.
Car still on your drive. Thieves move on.

A PIN-disarmed immobiliser adds a hidden step to starting your car, entered on buttons already on your wheel or dash. No fob to clone, no tag to lose, no relay attack to worry about. Fitted once, invisible after that, try the sequence above. We fit two: Scorpion X, and the better-known Autowatch Ghost.
Not every vehicle needs a PIN immobiliser. We also fit Thatcham-approved trackers with driver ID tags, remote deadlock immobilisation for higher-risk vehicles, and a tag-based immobiliser.

Does fitting a Ghost void my warranty?
No. It's a CAN bus installation that doesn't cut or splice factory wiring, so your manufacturer warranty is unaffected.
How long does it take?
Most Ghost, Auto Blok and tracker fittings take one to two hours, at your home or workplace.
Will my insurer recognise it?
We fit Thatcham-approved trackers (Meta Trak S5 and Deadlock), which most UK insurers recognise for tracking discounts. Ghost, Scorpion X and Auto Blok are TASSA-registered, and you get a certificate whichever you choose. Check the exact terms with your insurer.
Scorpion X, Ghost, Auto Blok, or a tracker, which do I need?
Scorpion X and Ghost both stop the engine starting without authorisation using a PIN you enter yourself, Scorpion X is our lowest-cost PIN option. Auto Blok does the same job but uses a tag on your keyring instead. None of the three tell you where the car is if it's taken another way. A tracker (S5 or Deadlock) adds recovery tracking on top, and Deadlock lets you lock the vehicle down remotely. Many owners combine a PIN immobiliser with a tracker; tell us your vehicle and we'll recommend a combination.
Every Ghost comes with an emergency PIN card. Keep it at home, not in the car. We can also reset it for you if needed.
